Lisa Callif Moderates Film Independent Panel Discussing Legal Challenges with The Defiant Ones

Partner Lisa Callif moderated the panel “Going Legal: The Defiant Ones Case Study” at the 2017 Film Independent Forum. Along with members of the production team of the acclaimed HBO documentary The Defiant Ones, Lisa discussed some of the legal challenges associated with producing the series, including licensing, fair use, appearance releases and delivery, as well as balancing talent, production and studio needs.
